Brett is a partner with WSW Government Relations. WSW provides government relations, government contracting and grants services in New York State, New York City, and Washington, DC.
Our philosophy is “It’s about you, not us.” Seems like a basic concept, doesn’t it? After all, a company that provides a service should naturally focus on its clients. As elementary as that sounds, many lobbying firms forget this. Too often, folks in Albany, New York City and Washington start to believe it’s all about them. And, as a consequence, your organization will suffer, either in the results or the treatment you receive – or both. Winning Strategies Washington (WSW) was founded in 2001 with the commitment to always put the needs of our clients first – and we’ve never strayed from this. Furthermore, we believe that organizations of all sizes and types should be able to advance their policy initiatives before their elected officials, and tap into government to promote their needs.
Brett worked on Capitol Hill for 12 years for a New York Member of Congress, the last five years as his Washington Chief of Staff. He has been advising companies, non-profits and universities in the private sector for the past nine years. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for Global Kids and the Finance Committee for the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala held each year in Washington, DC.
